A photograph of the Lapa footy team posing with a trophy. Clint 'Eastwood’ Cooke the 2004 A Grade Captain speaks about how there is no colour bar, and that the love of football and especially playing for Lapa is the element that binds the team. Children with the Lapa colours on. Brad Taaffe and club president Donald Houghton echoes Cooke’s sentiment of a mutual love for rugby. The Lapa Footy Club is one that is supported by funds raised by the community. Taaffe talks about how football is used as a way to keep kids on the straight and narrow.
