Australian Korean War veterans recall their experiences as prisoners of war, including the efforts made by the enemy to indoctrinate them with communist propaganda. A veteran describes how one Chinese solider got so involved in an imaginary game of two-up that he momentarily forgot himself and handed the Australian prisoner his rifle to hold.

The two-up incident is told through a beautifully shot black-and-white re-enactment – with the veteran playing himself.
