Synopsis
This documentary examines Meryl’s professional and personal life in 1995 when she was the artistic director of the internationally acclaimed Australian Dance Theatre. Meryl rehearses the dancers, talks about artistic endeavour and her life with husband Régis Lansac. The documentary features performance pieces from overseas tours, rehearsals in Adelaide and an interview with her husband.

The documentary is well made and engaging, celebrating the art of dance. It provides a good insight into the life and work of one of Australia’s best known choreographers, The producer Don Featherstone has made many films about the arts. His credits include Beautiful Lies, The Daylight Moon, Babakiueria, An Imaginary Life and The Beach.
