Curator’s notes
This 15-second ‘We Deliver’ commercial focuses on post office facilities, promoting the new range of services being offered by post offices and postal agencies. Under Australia Post’s Corporate Identity Programme and its post office ‘spruce up’ campaign, the new look post office had become much more of a shopfront, with retail and commercial functions quite separate from its sole original function of mail delivery. Where once customers queued only to buy stamps or arrange for the postage of non-standard mail, now they could pay bills, apply for passports and so on.
