This is an Australia Post television commercial (TVC) promoting the organisation’s new corporate image and the Parcel Post service.
Curator’s notes
This 15-second ‘We Deliver’ and Parcel Post commercial, promotes Australia Post parcel delivery to private customers. The non-business section of the parcel delivery market, previously monopolised by Australia Post, was not easy for private operators to move into. Neither was it necessarily a highly profitable section of the market. Australia Post continues to dominate it. This TVC was obviously produced more for public relations and the promotion of Australia Post as the rightful and reliable postal service provider to the families of Australia, than for any attempt to compete for market share.
