Curator’s notes
This TVC was produced for Australia Post by Clemengers Melbourne (now Clemenger BBDO Melbourne) and Film Graphics (now filmgraphics productions), and on-lined on 3 February 1988 at Omnicon (which merged with Videolab in 1999 to form the Omnilab Media Group). It is part of a twin set of ads which cleverly set Australia Post within the new fast package delivery service providers of the 1980s, while at the same time setting it apart from them in terms of reputation and trustworthiness.
