clip H2O OK!

Original classification rating: G. This clip chosen to be G

Clip description

The hidden mice Jinx (David Collins) and Gypsy (Roslyn Oades) introduce Sam (Angela Kelly), singing the water theme song ‘H2O OK’, which explores water in its different forms. The same theme song is played at this point in each of the five water-themed episodes, and is repeated at the end of these episodes. This clip is from the beginning of the song.

Curator’s notes

Like all theme songs in the series, this original song is bright and appealing, and explicitly about the episode theme. Directly targeting preschoolers, this song is strongly evocative of the successful preschooler song format of Hi-5. The lyrics are simple, repetitive and factual, designed to build up a child’s understanding of water and its different forms.
