Welcome to the English Cricket Team (1932)

  1. This clip has to be from 1932, not 1934, and hence prior to the start of the series in Australia that became known as 'Bodyline', 1932/33, which is why there will be no animosity, as you infer (there was none in 1934 either). Bill Woodfull captained Australia in 3 Ashes series, 1930, 1932/33, and 1934. Only the middle of these was played in Australia, the other two in England. As he is welcoming the English team it has to be the home series, hence 1932.
