A highly amusing sequence in which dominant female Nina (Sophie Lee) lays down the law to her housemates. A talented comedienne in films such as Muriel’s Wedding (1994) and The Castle (1997), Lee steals every scene she’s in as the neurotic and insensitive wannabe actress. Her clash with Dirk about where the biscuits and pineapple pieces belong will remind many viewers of similar moments they have experienced in group houses. The ‘Tim Tam’ biscuits Nina refers to are a cherished Aussie favourite.
