Elders from the four language groups – Mara, Yanula, Garrawa, and Gurdandji – introduce the film in their respective languages.

Curator’s notes

The people talk about the presence of Indigenous law as well as the introduced law of Australia. This clip introduces the process of negotiation the film itself undertook and we glean the level of intense negotiation that went into making it.
