Clip description

The Silver Shadow (Tayler Kane) tells Josh (Alex Hopkins), Alex (Hannah Greenwood), Campbell (Aljin Abella) and Gretel (Sage Butler) about his terrible archenemy, The Crab. It is the old grandpa (Ronald Falk), who is offering his bored granddaughter Fiona (Eloise Mignon) enough power to rule to world. Ever so cool, Fiona believes it’s a good point to start negotiations.

Curator’s notes

A geriatric, over-the-top arch villain in a red suit in a wheelchair is intrinsically funny. Actor Ronald Falk must have had a ball playing this role. He gets some great lines, especially when he describes with utter disgust how his children have ‘…taken a perfectly good evil empire and turned it into a chain of cosmetics companies’. The Crab and his sort-of-evil-but-not-really granddaughter Fiona are great characters because they subvert the notion of a traditional arch villain so delightfully.
