A tour group visits Jenolan Caves, New South Wales in 1929, and observes the extraordinary stalactite and stalagmite rock formations.

Newsreels and documentaries produced during the 1920s and 30s tried to give a personal sense of what it would be like to be there. In this newsreel, a tour group is shown entering Jenolan Caves and we are then shown good views of the rock formations inside the Jenolan Caves.

Thanks to the generosity of the rights holders, we are able to offer Jenolan Caves from the newsreel Travelogue of Eastern States as a high quality video download.
