Clip description

While picnickers are enjoying their afternoon outing, a curious baby kangaroo fossicks around the picnic area. Families enjoy an afternoon meal, while children play ballgames in the nature reserve.

The tameness of this joey kangaroo indicates its familiarity with people within the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. Amazingly, the kangaroo is handled by both children and adults, with seemingly little concern.
