The physical and emotional effects of adolescence in boys is discussed humorously. An outbreak of blackheads invades young Michael.

The full horror of the onset of male adolescence is effectively portrayed by the shot of contemporary teenage boys racing towards camera in a school corridor, then followed by black and white photos of the young, innocent looking Michael, coupled with his droll, self-deprecating voiceover.
