NAIDOC Week 2011

NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme is 'Change: the next step is ours’.

Indigenous filmmakers have been taking that step and our home page features their work. These short films were all developed and produced in association with the Indigenous Branch of Screen Australia, formerly the AFC.

The NFSA’s Black Screen program loans compiles of Indigenous-themed short films for community screenings for NAIDOC Week. For more on NAIDOC Week, visit the website.
